iSplit Premium Transit ("iSplit", "we", "us") operates the iSplit mobile and web application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

- Phone number — collected during registration via Firebase Phone Authentication for identity verification and account creation.
- Location data — collected in real time while you use the app to match passengers with nearby drivers, calculate routes, and provide navigation.
- Device tokens — Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens are stored to send you push notifications about ride status updates.
- Ride history — pickup and dropoff locations, timestamps, fare amounts, and ride status are stored to provide you with trip records and to improve our service.
- User role and profile information — whether you are a passenger or driver, and associated profile details such as vehicle information for drivers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- To connect passengers with available drivers in real time.
- To calculate fares and process ride transactions.
- To send push notifications about ride requests, status changes, and updates.
- To maintain ride history and provide trip receipts.
- To improve the reliability and quality of our service.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google) — for phone authentication, push notifications, and cloud messaging. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
- OpenStreetMap / Leaflet — for map display and routing. No personal data is sent to OpenStreetMap.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Ride history is kept for record-keeping and dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data.
- Withdraw consent for location tracking by disabling location permissions on your device (this will limit app functionality).
7. Children's Privacy
iSplit is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
